To express our vision and desires and dreams for a just society, we must secure affordable housing and secure living wages for cultural workers. We must make sure there is funding for arts in all schools, at all levels, in all community centers, and public art in all neighborhoods and businesses. We must secure funding for the arts by responsible legislation. Artists and people in cultural work need to be involved in discussions of policy and funding, in the funding process, and participate as art commissioners.
