We must oppose raising the age of recipients or lowering benefits. We must stop Medicare money being taken away from hospitals. We must fight reducing the cost-of-living-adjustment by denial of inflation. We must oppose voucher plans for private insurance or Medicare. We must fight eliminating deductions for Medicare which would be tax cuts for the rich and tax increases for everyone else.
Cuts to Social Security negatively effect people of color. We need to inform, educate and organize within communities of color and reach out to youth and students in high schools and colleges.
